Engr. (Dr.) Samuel Eshorame Sanni is a Nigerian, who currently occupies the position of a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Covenant University. His areas of interest include Chemical Reaction Engineering and Kinetics, Process Modeling & Simulation, Multiphase Transport, Process Engineering, Corrosion Technology, Energy & Fuels, Catalysis, Nanotechnology & Environmental Engineering, and Waste Valorization. He worked as PTDF/NNPC attaché in Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (2011), as C.E.O of Mattesh Clothier from 2012-2014 where he doubled as Director of production of Mattesh insecticide, Mattesh Air Freshener and Mattesh facial cleanser. He has B.Tech, M.Sc and Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ahmadu Bello University and Covenant University, all in Nigeria, respectively. He has authored about 146 publications with 107 currently indexed on reputable databases such as Scopus and ISI web of Science, where his corresponding h-indices are 7 and 6 respectively. He is the author of the book titled “Modelling and Simulation of Sand Entrainment and Deposit in Horizontal Oil Transport”, has authored (one book chapter- published by Wiley Scrivener) as well as co-authored several book chapters, and is currently a reviewer for reputable journal outlets including Bioremediation Journal (published by Taylor and Francis), Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering and Catalysis (Jointly Published by Diponegoro University & Masyarakat Katalis Indonesia – Indonesian Catalyst Society (MKICS), Progress in Industrial Ecology (Publisher- Inderscience), Carbon Letters (Publisher- Korean Carbon Society), International Journal of Sustainable Engineering (Publisher- Springer Nature), International Journal of Nuclear Energy Research (Published by Nukleonika), Anticorrosion Methods and Materials (Publisher- Emerald Publishing Co.), Chemical Papers (Publisher- Springer Nature), Bioremediation Journal (Publisher- Taylor & Francis), Chemical Engineering and Technology (Publisher- Wiley), Journal of Pure and Applied Microbiology and Scientia Iranica. He is one of the key players/assistant Principal Investigator of the Product development Cluster at Covenant University which was recently awarded a grant of six million naira to carry out the conversion of waste plastics to synthetic fuels sponsored by Nigerian Content and Development Board (NCDMB). Some of his outstanding accomplishments and awards include “One of 19 most outstanding researchers at Covenant University in the year 2019”, “PTDF Scholarship to Study HYSYS- awarded in 2017”, “Nigerian Institute of Information and Technology Scholarship award (Equivalent sum of 134, 000 naira) to study Sun Java at NIIT in 2007”. He is an active member of the “International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), Membership no: 791712343930, from 2018 to date, a Fellow of the “Institute of Policy Management Development (FIPMD), Reg no: 1107, from 2018 to date, a member of the “Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), with registration number R.30877, from 2015 to date, a member of the “Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Reg. no: 33613 from 2014 to date and a member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (MNSChe) Reg. no: M1654 from April 2014 to date. His hobbies include reading, studying, listening to music as well as playing ping pong.
