Detailed Biographical Info
Olugbenga worked in the oil/gas and manufacturing industry where he was involved in the design, fabrication and installation of pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping systems for 10 years (1997-2007) before transitioning into academics in 2007 where he obtained advanced degrees and gathered academic and research expereicne in the fields of corrosion, renewable energy, production and composite materials.
Olugbenga has interests in corrosion protection of metals in aggressive media, electrodeposition, steel rebar corrosion protection, and monitoring. His interests also include lean six sigma, engineering product development from agro-waste materials and renewable energy studies with the intent of meeting sustainable development goals (SDG) 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 14. He has an interest in resolving mechanical and industrial engineering challenges spread across a broad spectrum of areas.
